The delegation of the SCO Secretariat took part in the Belt and Road High-Level Forum for Rule of Law Cooperation

On 26 July 2024, the 6th Belt and Road High-Level Forum for Rule of Law Cooperation was held in Dunhuang (Gansu Province, China).

The main theme of the event is the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative: deepening cooperation based on the rule of law and jointly building the Belt and Road.

In his welcoming remarks, SCO Secretariat Advisor Shokhruh Bobonov said:

“Cooperation in the legal sphere is an integral part of the multifaceted interaction of the SCO member states and an important factor in deepening bilateral and multilateral relations <…>We believe it is necessary to intensify the exchange of specialists and organise joint courses to train highly qualified legal personnel, taking into account the specifics of the Organisation. This work will undoubtedly make a great contribution to providing legal support for the implementation of practical cooperation projects within the SCO.”
