SCO Secretary-General meets with Deputy Prime Minister - Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan

On 3 April, SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming, who took part in the 19th Meeting of the SCO Security Council Secretaries in the capital of Kazakhstan, met with Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu.

The parties discussed the upcoming meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council and preparations for important institutional meetings of the organisation. They agreed in their intention to work together with the member states to ensure a successful outcome of the summit in Astana and other events under Kazakhstan’s chairmanship.

A detailed discussion took place regarding the plans of Kazakhstan’s chairmanship, cooperation in security, international cooperation, and opportunities for improving the SCO’s activities.
