Regular meeting of expert working group of SCO Defence Ministers' Meeting

On 28 March 2024, the National Defence University of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana hosted a regular meeting of the expert working group of the SCO Defence Ministers' Meeting.

The event participants reviewed a 2024 draft action plan of the expert working group of the Defence Ministers' Meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s member states. They heard reports on preparations for the International Festival of Military Brass Bands, Pipes of Peace 2024.

They discussed the procedure for holding events under the 2024-2025 cooperation plan between Defence Ministries of SCO Member States throughout 2024.

The event was organised during the Republic of Kazakhstan’s SCO chairmanship and in accordance with a plan for cooperation between defence ministries of SCO member states in 2024-2025.
