On 4 March, the SCO Secretariat hosted the SCO national coordinators. During the latest meeting of the Council, chaired by Kazakhstan, issues related to the upcoming meetings of the SCO Foreign Ministers Council and the SCO Heads of State Council were discussed. The meeting participants also touched upon questions and put forward suggestions related to enhancing practical cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, within the framework of the SCO’s current activities.
Special focus was placed on further increasing the effectiveness of the SCO, and improving interaction with observer states, SCO dialogue partners, and international associations.
A protocol was signed following the meeting.
The meeting ended on 7 March.
The previous meeting of the SCO Council of National Coordinators was held online on 26 February 2024.
