We, the SCO Ministers of Foreign Economic and Trade Activity,
 
Positively assessing the accumulated experience of constructive economic collaboration, and recognising the significant potential for deepening and expanding this cooperation and striving for prosperity and raising the well-being of our countries, hereby reaffirm the special significance of developing trade and economic cooperation still further.
 
Proceeding from the importance of facilitating progress in the sphere of socio-economic development, raising the level of economic competitiveness of the SCO member states, reaffirming our commitment to the principles of the SCO Charter, including mutual trust, mutual benefit, equality, mutual consultation, a striving for development and respect for the diversity of cultures, while streamlining and strengthening long-term trade and economic collaboration, hereby state the following:
 
We support coordinated efforts to counter protectionist trade measures, as well as collaboration in strengthening openness, transparency, inclusivity and a non-discriminatory multilateral trade system.
 
We hereby state the need for overhauling the World Trade Organisation in order to strengthen the role of this organisation in global economic governance.
 
While remaining committed to deepening cooperation in the field of meeting greater global demand for clean energy in conditions of a global food crisis’ risks and global warming, we advocate deeper collaboration in the interests of ensuring the all-inclusive economic growth of the SCO member states for achieving the goals on UN Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.
 
We call for simplifying trade processes for attaining sustainable logistics supply chains in the SCO region.
 
We note the importance of increasing collaboration within the existing mechanisms under the framework of the Meeting of the SCO Ministers of Foreign Economic and Trade Activity to ensure long-term economic progress, as well as effective responses to arising challenges.
 
We advocate efforts to strengthen cooperation still further and to expand multilateral exchanges in the field of e-commerce.
 
While recognising the tremendous technological, economic, financial and human potential of the SCO member states, as well as the positive atmosphere of constructive partnership, we express confidence that there are broad opportunities for expanding and strengthening close collaboration for the purposes of facilitating well-balanced development, raising economic resilience, and the well-being of the people of the SCO member states.
