On 28 July, SCO Deputy Secretary-General Grigory Logvinov attended and addressed the opening ceremony of the SCO Summer Youth Festival in Qingdao, Shandong province, organised by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China in cooperation with the China-SCO Pilot Free Trade Zone Management Committee. The opening ceremony was attended by senior representatives of PRC government agencies and heads of diplomatic missions of several SCO member states.
During the event, the SCO Deputy Secretary-General presented a photo album List of UNESCO Cultural Heritage Sites in the SCO Family Countries.
The opening ceremony of the SCO Summer Youth Festival was attended by Zhao Shoyu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Qingdao City Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the China-SCO Pilot Free Trade Zone, Feng Litao, Deputy Head of International Exchanges and Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Huang Hongguang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Shandong Province Government, Farhod Arziev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to China, and Umarien Gulchekhra, Charge d'Affaires of Tajikistan to China.
