On 27 May, SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev during the Secretary's working trip to Central Asia.
The officials discussed some aspects of political, trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation among the SCO member states.
Zhang Ming stressed the firm intention of the SCO Secretariat to render every possible assistance in the development of multifaceted cooperation within the Organisation for the sake of stability and prosperity in the region.
Jeenbek Kulubaev underlined that the Kyrgyz Republic attaches utmost importance to the SCO activities and reiterates its commitment to consistent deepening of interaction among the SCO member states in all areas outlined in the fundamental documents of the SCO.
