SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming meets with Cambodia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China Mrs Khek Cai Mealy Sysoda

On 1 April 2022, SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming held a meeting at the SCO Secretariat Headquarters with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the People's Republic of China Mrs Khek Cai Mealy Sysoda.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed Cambodia's future cooperation with the SCO as a dialogue partner, considering the opportunities this status entails. They reaffirmed their shared commitment to expanding contacts between the SCO Secretariat and Cambodia's Embassy in China.

Mrs Khek Cai Mealy Sysoda pointed out that the Kingdom of Cambodia upholds its application to becoming an observer state within the SCO, and reiterated her country's commitment to engaging in an even more meaningful dialogue with the SCO.
