Deputy Secretary General of the SCO Sohail Khan delivered a welcoming speech at the plenary session of the Business Partnership Week between the regions of the SCO member states, which opened on 7 August in Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan.
The speakers included Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan B.Abidov, SCO Deputy Secretary General K.Sohail, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan R.Nasriddinzoda, Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic C.Makeshov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation D.Glukharev, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran S.Mahdii, Vice President of the Federation of Export Organizations of India V.Kulkarni, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Uzbekistan Yu Jun, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan L.Marinich, and others.
On the same day, Sohail Khan attended a panel session on “Cooperation in agriculture and ensuring food security as in the case of region-to-region cooperation between the SCO countries.”
The meeting also included B2B and G2B negotiations on e-commerce, green economy, transport and logistics, digital transformation, region-to-region cooperation, investment, industrial cooperation and other priority issues.
